Terms and Conditions 

Booking and Deposit Information

  • A deposit payment is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be set according to charter type and payment details are provided at the end of this document.
  • Deposit payments are valid for a period of three years from the date of payment.
  • If a booked charter is cancelled, the deposit can be applied to a future booking within the valid 3-year period.
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless the company cancels the charter without the ability to provide another booking.
  • Deposits not used within the 3-year period are forfeited unless special provision agreed to by DreamCatcher II Sportfishing. 

Charter Days and Weather Conditions

  • All charter days are subject to weather conditions. Safety is our top priority, and we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule charters due to adverse weather conditions.
  • In the event of a cancellation due to weather, the deposit payment can be applied to a rescheduled date within the valid period.
  • DreamCatcher II Sportfishing will provide as much notice as possible in the event of a weather-related cancellation.
  • Participants are advised to check weather forecasts in advance of the charter and to prepare for varying weather conditions.

Participant Responsibilities

  • All participants must follow the safety instructions and guidelines provided by the crew.
  • Recreational fishing licenses are required for all types of fishing offered by DreamCatcher II Sportfishing. It is the responsibility of the participants to make sure that they have a current fishing license for the appropriate state.
  • Participants are responsible for their personal property and should take care to secure their belongings while on the charter.
  • DreamCatcher II Sportfishing recommends that participants wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity.
  • The consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderation; however, excessive drinking and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • Full payment for the charter is required before the departure date.
  • Full price of the charter will be set according to the price on the day of the charter, not on the day the deposit is paid.
  • Charter prices are subject to change at the discretion of DreamCatcher II Sportfishing.
  • If cancellation by the client occurs more than 72 hours before the charter date, a full refund will be provided. 
  • If cancellation by the client occurs within 72 hours of the charter date, no refund will be provided.

By paying your deposit, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. DreamCatcher II Sportfishing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
